Well, I probably shouldn’t recommend anybody doing it the way I did. I had no idea I was supposed to taper up the dose. So I think I just used about 50 mg all at once! I had a really nice nap. And then I had no pain for about two days. When I took a smaller dose I had no effect. Then I read that it supposed to take a while to take affect and you’re supposed to start small and increase it. But when my pain was really bad and I couldn’t stand it I took another 50, same results.
So that’s the way I used it. I honestly didn’t want it interfering with the doctors protocol for the neuropathy, not knowing which was helping. I just wanted an occasional day of not hurting. Just knowing I had it available if i needed it helped me get through some tough times.
Are you having pain? I didn’t mix it with water, I got the oil and put it under my tongue. There’s a technical term for that that I can’t remember.
