Being a professional football fan in Ohio is stressful.
Thats why a petition was submitted to the State Medical Board requesting that being a fan of the Cleveland Browns or Cincinnati Bengals be considered as a qualifying condition for medical marijuana prescriptions.
Being a Browns or Bengals fan was one of 28 conditions submitted to the State Medical Board during the 2019 petition window:

I bet it does affect them. The Ravens have won two Super Bowls and seem to be in the playoff hunt every year . I think the first Super Bowl win was only five years after leaving Cleveland.
But the new Cleveland Browns have barely been playoff contenders in their 20 year history.
That might qualify for a visit from Dr. Kevorkian... oh wait, he’s ded ... maybe his office.
I’ve got a good friend who is forever cursed with being a Cleveland fan. Browns, Indians, Cavaliers. His only shining hope is he is also a huge fan of the Buckeyes.
