Being a professional football fan in Ohio is stressful.
That’s why a petition was submitted to the State Medical Board requesting that being a fan of the Cleveland Browns or Cincinnati Bengals be considered as a qualifying condition for medical marijuana prescriptions.
Being a Browns or Bengals fan was one of 28 “conditions” submitted to the State Medical Board during the 2019 petition window:

I’ve been a Dolphins fan for 45 years. Don’t ask me why. I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I once bought a Dolphins Starter jacket.

Or mentally defective. Browns v2.0 have had some horrific ownership, but the current owner is by far the worst. Jimmy the crook Haslam makes Art Modell look like a genius.
I don’t buy Browns gear, I don’t go to games, I don’t do anything that would fund that owner and his adventures in breaking his toy.
I’ve generally given up on the NFL. Don’t watch much in the way of games anymore. Still hate the Vikings and their so-called “fans”.
But I thought that Cleveland might have started to turn the corner after last year. Mayfield had a decent first year and their defense actually showed up more frequently. But they went backwards this year.
Not sure if it was coaching-related or if it were Mayfield regressing or what.
Cincinnati? Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems like the Brown family is an albatross around the neck of that team, a jinx, a curse, etc.
