I had the strangest flashback to the days of Romney and McCain while reading this. His analysis of what the Dems are doing seems right on, but his solution involving pulling in Trump’s punches sounds all wrong.

Literally “ripped” from a (either...) Jack Ryan or Mitch Rapp story line. Caused quite the difficulty in the IC as well as politically.
