Pollyanna thinking is precisely what precedes the Libertarian approach to society and politics. I never heard it put so well.
Have to Wonder how the Founders would have responded to that kind of self absorption? I think they didn’t see much of it, probably.
Libertarians, at their core, desire a socialist government run by them.
They want to be able to tell [convince by intimidation/rule] others that they are free to satisfy their desire, only within [their] limits.
