I think there were coaches out there who would have been willing to work under Dorsey. Maybe not some of the biggest names, but good candidates nonetheless.

I think the bigger question is whether the Browns were willing to give Dorsey a free hand to pick that coach after he so thoroughly botched that decision the last time he hired a coach.

Of course, all sorts of conflicting reports out of Berea, so we may never know.

Jimmy Haslam is the worst owner in the NFL. The Cleveland Browns will always be the sad-sack doormat losers of the NFL as long as that idiot owns the team. Ownership is everything.
