If I recall from a long time ago I heard people talk about long ping lists have to be broken up because the To:only takes so many characters. How many I don't know. Maybe ask Jim. Also you have to keep track where you break it off so people won't get double pinged.

People here aren't worried about double pinged. We're pretty easy going. I think most are just happy to have someone doing the thread. Wes and I both pinged on our own making sure everyone was notified.
