This just popped up in a comment on Twitter. Needed it today!

During a difficult time I told the Lord that I did not know how to trust Him, to rest, to be joyful or be at peace. He reminded me of Zech. 4:6 “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the Lord of Hosts!” He said, “You can’t do it child, Only My Spirit in you can.”

Beautiful...amen. Thanks.

NIKK...Tucker HIT a nerve with Carlos as well as you-all.

Carlos Osweda

NOTE how Tucker Carlson is careful to not call Qassem Suleimani a terrorist. He equates Suleimani to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a person with no command authority.

Let's go through Carlson's utterly bizarre objections to the killing of Suleimani.

"According to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo meanwhile, Suleimani was killed to forestall planned attacks on Americans, biut as he later conceded, those attacks would've taken place in the Middle East, not here in America."

Is Tucker saying that Americans in the Middle East don't deserve to be protected?

Sort of an insane thing to say.

At least to me.

Suleimani arranged the Benghazi attack.

Did J. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone S. Woods, and Glen Doherty deserve to die because they were in Libya?

I'd sure hate to live in the world that Tucker wants.

Tucker also says that Suleimani was planning on attacking only American troops who are in "hostile" countries.

The Quds Force has a long history of attacking civilians. On July 18, 1994 it bombed the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina building in Buenos Aires.

The death toll was 85 civilians.

As for us being in hostile countries, the Iraqis invited us back, the Saudis invited us back, the Qataris want us there, and the Bahrainis want us there.

Tucker is lying or delusional.

Is Iran the greatest threat we face?

This is the "thinking" that got us into World War II.

Back then, the Tucker Carlsons of the era demanded that we not do anything until anybody attacked us.

So we were were attacked, and we had our asses kicked for three solid years.

Our aircraft and tanks were obsolete, so we had to rely on stunning geniuses like Frank Jack Fletcher to save our bacon.

If Tucker Carlson knows who Frank Jack Fletcher is, I'll shake his hand and buy him a Daniel Webster ceegar.

Tucker says Trump is "ignoring the decline of our own country."

And Tucker is actually PAID to say things like this.

The luckiest man in the world.

Also, Tucker thinks that killing Suleimani will start a war with Iran.

What does this even mean?

Will Iran invade Iraq with armored divisions?

No.

Will Iran send strategic bombers to Al Udeid Air Base?

No.

What will a war with Iran look like? They have no blue-water navy and no amphibious task forces.

They don't even have the ability to drop more than a company of paratroopers.

Tucker is talking like he's nine years old.

Trump didn't start the war in Afghanistan, so it's stupid to compare that conflict to a potential conflict with Iran.

As smart as he is, Tucker doesn't know that Trump has access to intelligence that no other western leader has.

It's from the Saudis.

The Saudis give Trump their most-classified intelligence.

He's the first American president to get it.

The killing of Suleimani was coordinated with other regional actions. It wasn't isolated.

Wow.

Tucker says we can't kill terrorists like Suleimani unless we kill Mexican and Chinese drug lords.

He also says Trump is doing nothing about drug addiction.

What Tucker is ACTUALLY saying is that Americans can NEVER uses military force FOR ANY REASON.

Woodrow Wilson's view were identical to Tucker's.

Guess what happened?

The Germans set up BIOWARFARE LABS in the US and infected our livestock with anthrax and glanders.

Do you know why the Statue of Liberty torch is still closed?

German sabotage.

On July 30, 1916, the Germans blew up the Black Tom Island ammunition depot, damaging the torch.

See the shrapnel holes?

The Germans paid Pancho Villa to come across the border and murder Americans.

We had to send a military expedition into Mexico.

When the Germans began sinking our ships with submarines, we declared war.

All it took to un-Tucker the country was BIOLOGICAL WARFARE, terrorism, murder, and attacks on neutral ships.

AND THEN. our men got slaughtered.

After the war, we re-Tuckered ourselves in preparation for the next conflict.

Our leaders need to explain to us how war will make us RICHER?

Tucker, are you calling for a war of conquest?

Wars don't make you richer unless you take over countries and annex them.

No one has explained how killing Suleimani has made us safer?

Now you're just being deliberately obtuse.

WHAT?

We should go to war based on POLLS?

We have to FOCUS GROUP our wars?

You yourself don't believe that.

To finish, Trump has completely ignored the public in all fields and is interested only in going to war.

Tucker, people like you need to admit in simple language, "I oppose all war waged by the US for any reason."

Don't even try to explain. There's no rational explanation.

Just tell us your REAL viewpoint and let the cards fall where they may.

Don't lie and transform Suleimani into a harmless bureaucrat and Trump into Pol Pot.

It's STUPID.

Embarrassingly so.

END

That whole segment made me uncomfortable. I had to reexamine my view of Tucker.

I follow from the UK, I also felt it out of character for Tucker, who I have watched for several years now. Has Fox demanded a softer style from him? Why doesn't MSM report #HumanTrafficking?

Out of character...

So much so that the lefties on the comments are starting to like him. Is this a bizarre strategy to pull in a new set of eyes to watching his show? I'll reserve judgement til there's a trend.

He's a gatekeeper. This is what he's paid to do. He will cheer-lead for Trump 98% of the time. But when it comes to something really important, something the left can politically benefit from, he'll radically swing the other way. It's very obvious at this point.

Its difficult to take Tucker Carlson seriously when he talks about foreign policy. I know he votes for the most corrupt Democrat politician in local DC elections. He says he doesn't vote for president. maybe he wants to see the world burn so he can talk about it on Fox news.

Tucker has been going off the rails lately.

Totally obsessed with John Bolton.

And Tulsi Gabbard
