The Democrat superdelegates and power structures maintain more power if they run Bernie.
If they award the nomination to someone who didn’t even compete in the primaries then Bernie’s faction will run a candidate of their own who could very well do good against the Democrat candidate and embolden Bernie’s socialists in 2024.
If they just let Bernie run he will lose in a landslide all by himself and that should be the end of his faction.
Didn’t the DNC enact a new rule that the superdelegates can’t vote until the 2nd ballot?
That’s a very good theory. I like it a lot.
