Polar bear liver (also huskies’ liver) will OD you on Vitamin A. Rest of the bear and dog is relatively safe to eat. Admittedly it’s best cooked to avoid risk of trichonosis, which may be difficult in conditions that would drive you to eat bear or dog meat.

The flesh is fine, but probably nasty. The liver is loaded with vitamin A , and can kill you.
