When abortion was legalized via Roe vs Wade it was to be “safe, legal and rare,” yet according to the latest numbers available from American Life League (Others produce a range of other figures) the total number of abortions in the U.S. between 1973-2013 was 56.5 million.
One abortion every 30 seconds. 120 abortions per hour. 2,899 per day. 1.058 million per year. That is just in the U.S.
I don’t think anyone in their right mind could argue those numbers justify the term “rare.”...snip...
