I’m a member of a joke-telling club, where we have all the jokes catalogued and listed by number. Makes it quick to tell a joke: 76! And everyone laughs!
That’s what we do at our meetings. But there’s this guy who’s been there for years (well, it’s me) and never gets the laughs. I say 76, or 93, or whatever, and no one laughs. So I asked a friend there what the problem is and he said “some people just can’t tell a joke.”
