IMO, Medicare should remain as is; for those at least age 65, who paid into the system during their working years.

It’s not free for retirees and shouldn’t be free for others.

I just received my notice of SSA benefits for 2020, which indicates I’ll get $33 more per month AND that my deduction for Medicare will increase to $145/mo. That increase is more than the raise I’ll get in the SSA payment. ...I only have Medicare A and B coverage, so can only imagine the monthly deductions for those who also have C and D coverage.

I’ve had Medicare for over 12 years and they have only paid about $300 for my rarely needed medical services.

It’s ludicrous for Sanders, et al, to keep promising Medicare for all and that it will be free!
