We used to joke, why do they call Hadacol, Hadacol?

They had to call it something.

I remember Hadacol, but it wasn’t given to children in my family. However, A boxtop from it got me in to see Gene Autry I think. Maybe Roy Rogers, but I think it was Gene Autry.

There were four of us kids. My grandfather was a pharmacist. Hadacol left him a box of logo t-shirts. Guess which kids all wore Captain Hadacol shirts? All the other kids knew why it was called Had A Call.
