My wife and I stopped observing Christmas over 20 years ago and instead observe the biblical holy days. So it feels like another day to me...I keep forgetting what day it is!

I take are of my 93 year old Aunt and had Christmas Eve dinner with my brother and things are great. Merry Christmas everyone.

Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot. I’m looking forward to seeing the grand kids tomorrow. Everyone is so busy nowadays. All in all there will be eight grand kids from the extended family there. Two can’t make it. We’ll have a great time.

Have you thought of going to a candlelight Christmas Eve service tonight? Even if you are not religious or of any Christian sect, it is full of warmth, good music, a wonderful Biblical lesson, and friendly people.

I thought about it. My church has Christmas Eve service from time time. Not so much in recent years.
I don’t mind being alone. After the divorce it took a few years to adjust. The first couple of Christmas Eves after that were tough.
But, I came to accept it and now quite enjoy it. I have my little routine and will be with my family (parents, sister, in laws, nieces, nephew, and my two daughters) on Christmas day. So, this is kind of like the calm before he chaos.

Thank you Heshtesh, I could be at my Mfg plant too; except I got called in at 2:00am Fri morning for a 10 inch water main break running through the center of my facility. Took a couple of hours to shut off, had to clean up as best as I could, then get ready for a 10:00am conference call with 3 lawyers. So, after ending a week like that, I’m really glad to have a couple of days off work. Just wish my pup was still with me.
I loved that movie since I was a kid.
I think I know every song by heart.

This will be the 2nd Christmas without my Jim. Our daughter lives here, but she goes to bed at 7, so it is a quiet evening. Two cats, tho for comfort.
