Well if it IS true then the Catholic Church must have around a gajillion dollars parked in the same manner.

Let me see, there is an envelope with the local bishops name and local church maling address.

There is a reciept form for easy record keeping.

Can be handed in on sunday, or mailed for those of us who forget to ttake it with us.

When i was a Protestant we got an envelope from the church if we chose to instead of dropping it in the collection plate. If we mailed it in, we had to address the envelope.

Having a pre addresed envelope is the only difference.

And no collection plate.

It is NOT true. Just as it is not true that Latter-day Saints are required to sign over their houses if they ever ask the church for financial assistance.
