Substantially, a parliamentarian move to justify the work to come. Especially if the convention is just a “rubber stamp” gathering.
I’m Watching peachmint right now on faux and I just heard speaker Nanny just say “we gather under the dome of this temple of democracy” after she said her pledge of allegiance.
Look close at the design on the podium she is speaking from. The design carved into the wood on the front of the podium sure looks like a similar design that was at the base of the temple on Epstein island in that court yard.
