They did exactly that. From Collyer’s scathing letter:

“The frequency with which representations FBI personnel made to the court turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case,” Judge Collyer continued, “calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable.”

Great.

Now let's review every single piece of footage and any other "news" that was used in the last 40 years to get us involved in a military conflict. Let's see if there were other instances of fake news being the reason we were pulled into a conflict.

It is clear, from the NBC gun range footage so easily proven fake, that someone wants us in Syria badly. How many other conflicts were we sucked into the same way?
