More of my thoughts, FWIW.

Impeachment is an imperative with the DS. it must move forward and quickly. The Senate cannot be allowed to stall or summarily dismiss (can’t...meh...Constitution says so). Why?

Ginsberg! Her retirement or death will be announced soon after the Senate schedules the “trial”. Trump will be stymied by the “vox populi” [media created] for appointing a replacement. Senate suspends all work until the “trial” concludes.

After that, Dems will beat the dead-horse of “he was impeached” when he tries to replace...along with ANY of his nominees going forward. Impeachment confirms “illegitimate”.

Note this: what would be the plan if VP PENCE is somehow removed during this time? What happens if Trump is removed by the Senate if he has not had the opportunity to replace PENCE and the Senate cannot provide advise&consent?

Is Our President restricted in any way during impeachment? Is Pence the ‘pro tem’ President? Or does the Speaker of the House take over? Is this last statement the real reason for all this expensive garbage as Our Nation goes down the drain?

Yes, they want to label him illegitimate before Notorious RBG takes her dirt nap.
