Yep that’s my story and i am sticking with it.
Today I found my car key one of those ones you click the button to lock n unlock in my pants pocket in the washing machine I have NEVER done that I took the main set out but the car key is all alone. Then I panicked if it got wet after being washed will it work?
Well it did ! Praise the LORD!

Best I remember is perfectly washed and fluffed kleenex. Didn’t know that was possible.
Keys. LOL. I had a set of keys that disappeared. Showed up about 30 years later at our subsequent residence. Never did figure out how it happened.
