Manafort was not FARA compliant when he came to work for Trump. Not a mistake Trump would take lightly.
Even so, he was a plant to give the Criminal Insertion Agency leverage. Still, that’s a personal awareness error that led to NATSEC concerns.
All in all, he wasn’t a good soldier and should take his lumps. Tine served.
Yes, Manafort’s federal charges are unrelated to Trump but the FBI, made an example out of him to hurt Trump. What was it a 4am arrest hand cuffed in his front yard? All unnecessary but all staged to make Trump look bad. I think Trump will pardon him.
