The House hasn't even voted to impeach yet. They may not have the requisite votes to do so. True, but they have the votes. They'll vote on it as close to the holiday break as they can get so it will be topic #1 for a couple of weeks with the news network and during holiday events.

And the number of votes in the house needed to change between now and Wednesday or whenever for the whole impeachment charade to collapse is a lot less than 67. It’s pretty unlikely, but it’s at least as likely as 20 republican senators to flip.

Removing a duly elected President for bogus charges would be the end of the Republican Party. They will never vote to remove him.It would be the end of a lot more than that.
