No, but it sends a message, and alerts others like her that it's dangerous to be roaming the streets and parks of New York at night in pursuit of whatever good time you're looking for. Kids think their invincible. They always think it won't happen to them...that this kind of stuff happens to other people. It doesn't hurt to give them a "wake-up" call on how easy it is to lose your life for the dumbest reasons.
