...properly, it would be the USNS Milk, or Unites States Naval Ship...run by the Military Sealift Command..?? or something like that (”back in the day...” when I was a snot-nosed Seaman Apprentice, it was the MSTS, or Military Sea Transport Service). USNS ships are not considered as commissioned warships and thus do not carry the U.S.S. (United States Ship) designations...
