I mean, this heavy-handed approach by Ambassador Foote with its quid pro quo echoes Slow Joe in Ukraine too much to be a coincidence.
I'm prepared to wait and see how this shakes out.
It is very hard not to suspect a Sting operation, given the clock and the calendar are running out, as we’re careening toward an election year. This better be a Sting.
Otherwise, I have to look at NO CHARGES, NO TRIALS, and suffocating on my own assumptions of the MAGNITUDE of the Durham targets... who are assumed will suffer charges and trials, but which if accomplished en masse may easily cause a civil war, if they all crash-land during an election year, and unfortunately while the Supreme Court remains ensconced as it is, with Roberts as Chief Justice, presently, in any event, including even impeachment.
This present conditioning going on isn’t all that comforting, at the moment. How many of these targets, and crimes and court cases (GITMO RESORT or other courts) can all be unloaded and still expect that the public will absorb the MAGNITUDE, without exhaustion, or worse.
This better be a Sting,... with a speedy conclusion to it.
