I have not verified this, but I have believed from the start that the Comey/Corney “mistake” was on purpose and NOT the result of an OCR error.

If it was not a mistake and done on purpose, would that mean they put out the exact report they wanted us to see? Horowitz wouldn’t have done that on his own, correct?
I don’t know, but that won’t stop me from offering my opinion....
Here’s my opinion/reasoning:
I would not expect that it was Horowitz who did this. I don’t think it would take an enormous amount of tech savvy to do it, but I don’t think that’s in Horowitz’s wheelhouse. *IF* Horowitz is ultimately behind it, I would bet he had someone else do it for him.
So if not Horowitz, then who?

Re Corn Comey:
Recall that Hero Rodgers said at one point that he “hid” evidence by naming/ filing it incorrectly.
Perhaps he did a find and replace on Comey’s name to prevent Comey from searching his own name to delete evidence.
