DH is the kind of man who has a plan to kill everyone he meets although he was never in the mil. He is also kindly to everyone unless they make it clear that they are thugs/wrong doers etc. Especially kindly to animals.
We were so lucky we found the good ones and had the luck to recognize them, and that they had the luck to recognize us.
I only saw my husband lose his temper twice in 45 years of marriage, both times defending someone in a subservient position being unfairly attacked. ( I probably deserved it way more than 45 times, but he was so patient with my high strung temperament) With me, he used humor, and I loved him so much for it.
When he lost his temper, he didn’t lose his cool reason, his logic, or his moral principals. He totally demoralized the offenders within 5 minutes, and they slunk off, demoralized and shamed. He was quiet but deadly.
I miss him. He is with God now, and I can’t wait to join him if that is in God’s plan for the hereafter. I can only hope, but do not know.
