Page was both C_I and F_I - as greeneyes notes, he was an asset for the F_I in a prior trial of Russians and the kicker was they had surveillance of Russians saying that Page was an idiot wand they wouldn’t use him for anything. Now we know, via Clinesmith, surprise, he was also a C_I asset, too.
Carter worked with both FBI and CIA. We saw proof of this in former Q thread where it was shown he was on FBI payroll.

Carter Page testified to the House Intelligence Committee that DOJ-FBI officials leaked his identity, his role in the Buryakov case, to the media.
This is secondary and direct confirmation from Page himself that he was indeed the FBI UCE-1
