2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton tweeted a message of support shortly after Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) announced Tuesday that she will end her bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
While Clinton's tweet did not specifically mention Harris, her words came less than an hour after the California senator announced early Tuesday afternoon that she was suspending her 2020 campaign, bringing to a close a rough stretch of several months that saw her poll numbers falling and her fundraising totals drying up.
“I’ve taken stock and looked at this from every angle, and over the last few days have come to one of the hardest decisions of my life,” Harris wrote in an email to supporters. “My campaign for president simply doesn’t have the financial resources we need to continue.”
Early on in the race Harris was seen as a front-runner among a crowded field of Democrats, but she struggled to convert the early enthusiasm into a sustained movement.
Clinton won the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2016 election but, despite winning the popular vote, lost in the general election to now-President Trump.

Hillary will never run for any race ever again.
She spent 1.4 billion dollars and still lost a rigged election to a political nobody.

Democrats should write in Kamala Harris’s name on their 2020 general election ballots.
Just to show how principled they are in supporting her.
All along, the Ukrainian Impeachment Fairy Tale, which incidentally indicts so-called "Front Runner" Idiot Joe Biden (but the media and congress conveniently ignore) have had the hallmarks of the clinton crime family all over it. They see it as a "two-fer" and envision the dems crawling to her heinous to save them.
Harris crashing and burning is the worst political nosedive since Edward Muskie, the Man from Maine.
Yes, I’m showing my age. Muskie was touted as the next FDR until he was on the campaign trail for about 5 minutes.
Harris and Clinton have been cleaning each other’s wounds for a while now. Suspect she’ll be her running mate.
At some point during one of these “debates “ senile Joe is going to start ordering from the afternoon seniors menu...at that point they will have to yank him off the stage and that will be hitlery’s opening.
Harris didn’t fight for anything, however she did whine quite a bit about some nonsense.
Hellary didn’t support Kamala much while she was in the running. Guessing Hellary’s hoping to pick up her supporters when she decides to run.
