She’s the “keeper of the door” dad would get the biggest kick out of her barking either inside or out so her friends could come and go. I think it’s that territorial border Collie. That’s why dad named her Ranger. She’s in charge of her space. The others bark or meow sometimes but never as regularly as she does. It’s not unusual when the temperature drops for her to line them all up and bark for entrance.

Ranger is a great name.

There is really something special about a Border Collie.

Will never forget the 1st one we had who was “The Boss” of us kids.

Oh that is precious. I had wanted to get a border collie, to see if they would learn to round up the cats. But I read that they have to have a job and if you don’t give them one they will find one. Usually when you don’t want them to do. I figured I didn’t have the time or energy to devote to a high energy dog.

But maybe I can now, now that I don’t work. She sounds absolutely precious! And so smart.
