Oh that is precious. I had wanted to get a border collie, to see if they would learn to round up the cats. But I read that they have to have a job and if you don’t give them one they will find one. Usually when you don’t want them to do. I figured I didn’t have the time or energy to devote to a high energy dog.

But maybe I can now, now that I don’t work. She sounds absolutely precious! And so smart.

A sheltie will round up cats. Ours did and if any of our cats would try to get outside. Its just second nature to them.

She thinks she herding cats. More like the cats are playing hide and seek with her. She has a very big vocabulary particularly if I also use hand signals. She’s not as smart as Rascal who really took care of my dad. She did the “timmys in a well” thing twice when he needed me. Dad said she was the smartest dog in the world. She certainly loved him.
