Very nice that your family lives close and you have these big holiday get togethers.
We tried keeping it up after the folks died but it finally went the way of each of us girls trying to get together with our own immediate family’s with a few exceptions.
We all live so spread out.

They actually don’t on my side. They currently are in Juno, Omaha, Broward County FL, Laramie, Seattle, Sun City, etc.
This was my last year at the farm though I already told my kids I won’t do it again. He was too nasty his family will have to tell the others in WI about him living with the girlfriend next year for the last few years, I won’t do it again no matter how much the kids beg.
He’s coming to my mom’s on Xmas eve and I’ll be at his parents Christmas Day, but this is the end of it this year. He tried to get out of my daughters graduation last week and then proceed to get totally shit faced while there and drove. Girls had to escort him to his room at the hotel after we were playing games in the bar. Straight up Jameson 15 or 18 yr, double shots times 8-10 times after his straight up Tito’s at the restaurant before hand.
This will be the last Christmas as a family as I can not do this anymore. He hasn’t lived here for 2 years this January and yet they want everything to remain the same. It just can’t happen anymore, I have always had low blood pressure all my life and now it’s running between 153 over 100 and 167 over 110. I am 5’ 8/9” and only 108 lb’s I am a stick figure. It will kill me if I keep trying for them anymore. I am done...
