Sounds like we're thinking alike. We will travel Christmas evening so I'm making 5 hour stew with Italian bread to eat before leaving. Fixing it ahead makes it so convenient. Once breakfast is prepared I'll pop in the stew.
Peanut Butter fudge is easier than Hersheys cocoa but a lot like it.
butter the bottom and sides of a glass cake pan.
2c. white sugar..
1/2 c milk
3 TBsp. peanut butter
In a pan(I use club aluminum-best for heat and not burning)add sugar/milk/peanut butter over medium heat, stir until smooth..........USE a wooden spoon or if medal..DON'T touch the bottom of the pan because it will burn.....when it begins to rapidly boil, stir the mixture for 5 minuts(this gives the sugar time to melt)Remove from the heat..(I add a large spoon more of peanut butter and a couple drops of vanilla. Stir and then pour into a butter glass cake pan.
Rusty..several people at my work only liked microwave fudge and hated my cooked fudge. Then there were some who only liked my fudge because its what they grew up with. I personally can't get down a bite of microwave fudge. But then I can't get down what I call an under baked cookie.or an under baked brownie.

Thank you for the recipe! Sounds simple but I know the secret to candy is in the timing. Ill give it a try.

I understand, but unless you’re a fudge connoisseur, it’s good!
