Exactly..I never bought store bought syrup until a few years ago. I always made my own. My mom always made ours.

Did you do the 2 minute fudge? Powdered sugar, cocoa, butter, milk, add vanilla after 2 mins, stir and chill? Love that stuff. Been making about 30 years that way.
