Several years back my husbands dentist noticed a growth on the roof of his mouth. He says I can take care of that and have it biopsied. So he snips it off and then has the assistant put pressure on it. Then they are ready to go to lunch and tell my husband to keep pressure on it with lots of gauze in his mouth. We got on the Freeway and was crossing the bridge to our town and he was bleeding really bad from his mouth. We were closer to our hospital ER then going back to the dentist (besides they all went to lunch) So at the ER they said we can fix that right away and put the powder stuff on (the stuff they put on cats and dogs when they cut their nails to short and they bleed) It stopped immediately. I can't believe the dentist didn't have that stuff. They should have known better to do that procedure right then because they have his medicine list and should have known he was on 81 mg of Aspirin.

Rusty I am sure he knows how you felt when you were bleeding in your mouth. :-(
