Cotton, my hubby is hanging in. The gastroenterology doctor has never gotten back with us on finding out if Medicare would put him in as Outpatient/Inpatient to do the clean out for a colonoscopy. etc. I seriously doubt they would pay for it, so I am not pushing to have that done. He goes to see his primary doctor on the 26th and I just put in a call to see if they will call for them to have another in home blood test done before the appt. I am anxious to see if his hemoglobin has gone done or stabilized since I took him off the 81mg of Aspirin. I got to thinking his losing blood could be maybe he got a bleeding ulcer after taking that for 9 years.
My son has been coming over morning and night now to get him out of bed and then into bed so that has been a big help to me.

It sounds like you’re having to be his primary doctor and figure this stuff out! Like about the aspirin. I hope taking him off it helps and the bleeding stops!
That’s good, I’m glad you have your son to help with the heavy things so you don’t have to. And my sister had ALS they had some sort of Sling contraption that they used to take her in and out of bed that the nurse could use by herself or my brother-in-law. Not sure how it worked though.
