No, as the cath is being done as an out patient procedure and they said that he would be checked into hospital and have to spend the night if a stent is needed.

Strange how they do it so different there. When my husband had his done it was a one day procedure, but they ended up putting him overnight in the hospital because it was so late in the day when they did it and because he had been taken off of Coumadin in order to do it. MEDICARE would NOT pay the hospital because it was supposed to be a one day procedure. We didn't have to pay the hospital either. They had to take the loss.
