I know exactly what you mean. When my husband had his last open heart surgery 2010 it was 130 miles away from home. They wanted to put him in a rehab there, but I said No! I can't stay here with him. Then they said I would have to drive him back to our town and go directly to the rehab unit in our town. I told then No! I couldn't take the risk of driving back with him, so I made them transport him in a Med Transport. Good thing I did as it was the worst snow storm we had in a long time. When I got on the Freeway the trucks were splashing snow slush up on my windshield so I turned on the window washer to clear them off. NOTHING CAME OUT to clean them off. My only view was from a little streak cleared by the wipers. I got halfway home and stopped at a restaurant and discovered the window washer fluid was froze solid. Walmart had been putting in Summer fluid and it froze. That was the awfullest trip in my life.
I will pray for your husband to have a successful operation and for a safe trip, coming and going back home.
What a nightmare you went through.
I’m thankful there isn’t any snow in our foreseeable future.
It is supposed to be unseasonably cold in Phoenix the next couple of days but that will feel normal to us.
And thank you for your prayers.
They mean so much to me.
