We can all relate to the fact that life is constantly accompanied by various uncertainties, and we can’t help but feel that these last two weeks we have experienced more uncertainties than ever before in our life. Conversely, these last two weeks have left in our mind and heart, an unwavering certainty that the strength and support of our mountain community is boundless. We have been further touched by the strength and support we have received from countless other communities across the state and nation.
It was as we watched hundreds of people flock to our aid that this certainty was solidified. We witnessed so many people, from our amazing family and life-long friends, to complete strangers, come and support us. So many gave so selflessly of their time and energy. They provided meals, water, resources, equipment, free lodging, and the list goes on and on. We were so touched as we witnessed so many of you devote countless hours and days to help us in our time of need. We know many of you dropped everything and made considerable sacrifices to help. So many of you gave so much.
Our testimony of prayer has increased because we can attest to the fact that we were truly lifted and strengthened by the many prayers offered on our behalf. The countless phone calls and messages of love and support that we received have carried us through this difficult time.
We have always felt privileged to be able to call the White Mountains home, however now it is truly an honor. The words necessary to adequately express the gratitude we have in our heart for all of you and what you have done for us do not exist. It is with this full heart that we sincerely thank all who have helped us in any way.
