Do not be ashamed to be depressed. That is like being ashamed of having green eyes (which I have and I love!). It is a chemical imbalance within your body and you cannot help it. Take a deep breath. Hold it. Breathe out slowly. Repeat two more times. Take a look around you. Do three more breathing exercises.
Now, realize this is a temporary condition. It seems permanent now, but it isn’t. The depression is temporary.
Focus on what needs to be done now, at this moment. If nothing is needful, then relax! You’re all caught up. Everything else is luxury.
You’ve been through a lot. You are still going through it. But, these feelings, really, will pass.
