You forgot how BuOrd spent *years* denying there could be a problem with USN torpedoes to the point where several complaining Captains were cashiered or transferred.

Not posting about it is not forgetting. There's more layers to that debacle than what I would have time to write about. You have to read every account of everyone who struggled with BuOrd to get the full picture of what kind of a struggle transpired. And it's more than I would have time to write about that's for sure.
