One thing Mike Pence has going for him is that he has the same initials as Mike Pompeo. You would think we would have a good read on him by now. But there was a cloud of suspicion in 2017 when it was revealed that the wife of Pence’s chief of staff was working for Strzok and may have been recruited as a Whitehouse source for the rouge FBI until Aug of 2017. History is replete with incumbent Presidents swapping out their VPs. Pompeo would secure the same voting block as Pence and maybe more but is it worth the trouble to change the ticket now.
