We have a couple of solar panels but they’re not hooked up to anything currently; one is to run the well pump if need be (different well pump, not installed). Not enough sun now. We have a cell phone and a non-electric phone we use when power goes out; but if the phone lines are down, then nothing. All depends on wind and what it does to how many trees!
Communication down is my fear—not so much now, but when my Dad was still alive—had to call the ambulance several times per year.
