I wish people like Ginsburg would just quit when they are obviously incapable of doing their duty. This is sick.
I wonder how long her clerks have been doing basically all of the work?

The Founders made a few mistakes when writing the Constitution. One of them, in my opinion, was not having a mandatory retirement age for federal judges. 80 would seem to be about right.
Knowing sick Dems they will keep her on life support, say she is working from home, and forge her signature on anything that needs it.
Just like Elijah Cummings. Never reported he was sick, dying, at home until he just “died”.
When you feel the power thrumming between your fingers the way Ted Kennedy and John McCain, how could you let it pass to other, lesser mortals?
Hillary is desperate for it. Al Franken, I bet, has withdrawal pangs and will try to get it back one day.
You’re right. She should give it up. But how sweet it is and how hard it must be to do so! Even at the end!
She is just following the Swimmer Ted/Juan McLame example of fulfilling a public service role while incapacitated. Never mind the public, just hang onto power at all costs.
Not just with Ginsberg either. John McCain is another recent example of a career government employee clinging precariously to a position of power and influence to the very end - long past the point of being able to handle the duties and responsibilities of that position effectively.
It's such a disservice to the people that they are supposed to serve.
All these people would have personally and spiritually been benefited by spending their last years with family and friends.
As for Ginsberg, she was all set to retire in a blaze of glory in early 2017. allowing "President Hillary" the honor of choosing her replacement.
But something happened.
I have been wishing this for decades. It is ridiculous when they get so old, and are constantly ill, that their egos cannot allow them to retire with dignity.
