Once it is known for sure she is dying, I hope President Trump has a team standing by to protect and insulate the top five potential replacements.
Typically, SCOTUS security is done by the Supreme Court Police, with the US Marshals service guarding them outside of Washington, D.C.
But I think this is a special case, as these potential replacements will need maximum protection: bodyguards, legal services, surveillance and anti-surveillance, anti-terrorist, and who knows what other forms of protection.
Truthfully, I would put them and their families on high security military bases until their confirmation hearing and for at least a month thereafter.
To make up for the disruption, the four who aren’t nominated should still be nominated for courts of appeals judges right after.

There should be a mechanism to replace Supreme Court Justices when they are physically or mentally impaired and can no longer do the job, and won’t do the right thing for themselves and the country and retire. Remember William O. Douglas?
The real reason for this frantic, politically reckless impeachment eleven months before the 2020 is about to be realized. They have known this was coming. upon her exit, they will block and nominations by Trump, arguing a POTUS under impeachment can not be allowed to appoint.
