An attorney for a Navy SEAL convicted of posing with a dead Islamic State militant contended Wednesday that Navy leaders are trying to remove him from the elite force in retaliation for President Donald Trumps decision last week to restore his rank.
Rear Adm. Collin Green made his intentions clear at a staff meeting Monday that he wants to remove Special Warfare Operations Chief Edward Gallaghers Trident pin, which designates him as a SEAL, attorney Timothy Parlatore said. Green is the Naval Special Warfare commander.
What Im hearing is that the rear admiral said very disparaging comments about the president and stated his disagreement with the presidents actions and said therefore I want to move forward in removing his Trident, Parlatore said.
Parlatore filed an inspector generals complaint Tuesday accusing Green of insubordination for defying Trump. He said Green should be fired and court-martialed.

And overpriced at that.
Boorda
Her video on Vindman has already been removed by youtube. You have to go to Bitchute
If we make that within the discretion of the President, then we're going to get Demi Moore in the teams when we get a female President. Gotta take the good with the bad.
Yeah, Boorda.
Read about this yesterday. Seems like the admiral needs to be relieved.
Someone needs to remind him who is boss is.
Someone needs to be reminded who the commander-in-chief is...
But if it does, what is your opinion then?
Like I said, this could have come up years ago but it never was until Trump pardoned him. So who was REALLY behind this action?
Lt. Col.s (= Navy Commander) I have known have all told me that GENERALLY the only way you make full bird Col. (Navy Captain) is by being a good political butt-kisser. And they refused to do that.
Had a former Lt. Col. work for me once as a manager and later a Navy Commander (female) - best managers I ever had, bar none. Their BS sensors were off the chart good, and neither put up with a bit of it, and each superbly managed problem employees that reported to them.
Only one other subordinate was as good as them, a Civil Engineer, P.E. with MBA - but he was not as good at managing people as they were.
Saying what I did, my father made Captain in Navy Reserves - and he was NOT a butt-kisser - but excellent at following orders precisely.
A Mustang hounded by that low life reporter that took a commendation medal with a V device into a OMG he needs to be crucified.
Who was that guy? Always wore black and died many years ago. Military used to like it when he called Wash DC generals and admirals perfumed princesses. Then he took himself too seriously and became arrogant to all, not just the O-7s and above.
He is an outstanding record as an officer and he has led special operations in combat
It is possible he has become politicized under Obama
This review is legit but ill advised.
If it is determined that Green is being vindictive or acting on political motives he should at least be fired because he will have committed misconduct much worse than anything Gallagher was accused of
David Hackworth.
Thats the guy!
Thanks.
The issue of saying he can't be with a team anymore wasn't an issue until he was pardoned.
If the admiral made disparaging remarks in front of subordinates, and if they are willing to provide statements, cutting the nuts off the admiral would be a worthwhile exercise. It would get a lot of flag officers’ minds right.
I totally agree. Green needs to go. The CIC is the boss. This is rank insubordination.
Trump just tweeted that the Navy will not be taking Gallaghers trident pin.
