Wow. He was offered the position of Defense Minister. That’s pretty impressive. But it does lead to one question. Why? I suppose there are two possible explanations.
1. The Ukraine thought a mere lieutenant colonel is qualified to be a defense minister.
2. The Ukraine thought Vindman could be manipulated through flattery.
