I think it was Matthews because he’s farted on camera numerous times and Swalwell was in a live, boomed shot (ambient noise and echoes with a fart that loud). It came out of Chris.

I agree, it was too distinct to be heard in a large atrium like that.
I heard from a guy who heard from a guy who heard from a guy who was on a phone call where someone said that it was Matthews, but let’s review the facts:
1) Swalwell pauses his sentence
2) Swalwell grimaces
3) Swalwell achieves liftoff from his chair simultaneous with the audible explosion
