I totally agree with you. They were up big in a game where they were heavily favored. Why leave him in after the first quarter? Saban said it was his “last series of downs” and that the O line has to protect him but I call BS. Shouldn’t have been in there in his condition (already struggling with a high ankle fracture post surgery).

But Tua was playing lights out football. That’s why the Tide were up. The ankle seemed to bother him very little. Saban didn’t send Tua in the game to be injured. But that’s the risk every player takes.

Alabama was up 35-7. This was a few weeks after a high ankle sprain surgery. Why was Tua still in the game?

This could cost him millions if he slides 10-20 slots in the draft

Saban is to blame. He didn’t put the interest of his player above his own.

The other part of this story is Alabama lost their backup quarterback who now starts for Oklahoma. Hurtz.

Excellent post. You speak truth.

Bama haters grab any opportunity to bash Bama and Saban. As you stated, Tua begged to stay in for one more drive and Saban agreed, so they could practice their “two-minute drill”.

Tua is the ultimate casualty of this injury plagued, Bama football season. I have never seen a College Football team suffer so many injuries in one year. The injuries that Bama has suffered this season is absolutely surreal.

I had tears in my eyes when they were carrying Tua off the field. I wasn’t sad about the wins or losses; I felt horrible for Tua and his family. He is such a genuine kind hearted person and he didn’t deserve to have his career end that way.

It’s sickening to see the posts making light of Tua’s injury, just because the poster hates Alabama. They are only displaying their ignorance.

How does it prove Bama is overrated? I don’t think anyone said Bama’s season is over. Tua’s year is over, yes, but there are a lot of great players on Bama’s roster.
We all know that no team is nearly as great as Ohio St. ....ever! I’m sure it would just fry your butt if Bama made it into the CFP and won out. I doubt they will do it but it would be nice if they did. Good luck to you and the butt-eyes

Go on...Keep celebrating the misfortune of an outstanding young man, just because you harbor a childish hatred and jealousy of his coach and team.

Just remember that karma could strike you or your team.

you need to go back to school little girl and learn to read- i’m not celebrating anything, just pointing out Saban for the selfish SOB he is...its too bad you’re too much of a child to admit the truth...

I’m an Aggie fan and I am saying prayers for this fine young man and this team.

No reason to wish any ill upon him, or the team/coach, over this tragic injury.

Unreal and sad to even see that happening, here.

Wow...that is probably one of the most rude posts I’ve seen from you, GLA.

Little girl? Child?

Name calling is not becoming.

Are you okay?

What do you think would happen to the Buckeyes if Justin Fields get hurt?

It’s Florida’s job to score points. It’s Miami’s job to stop them. Seems someone was doing their job. It seems like someone else was not.

Because of the ankle injury it appeared he couldn’t run as well. Which didn’t help, when 2 big guys dragged him down and fell on him. I can’t judge if he should have been playing because I don’t know much about it and didn’t watch much of the game.

Oh my god, are you stupid.

You obviously don’t watch any college football games, except for your little anOSU team.

Tua Isn’t the only injured Bama player. Our defense is decimated by injuries and our field goal kicker is out for the season. Besides Tua, three other Bama players suffered injuries in today’s game. Our team is a walking MASH unit.

As I warned another poster, I would be very careful about celebrating Tua’s injury. Karma can be a bitch.

I find it highly amusing that OSU fans are still braying about that Sugar Bowl years ago.

But, I can’t blame you since that’s the only time that your team ever defeated Bama...

Bama probably felt the pressure to win big after the loss last week.

My point stands, little boy.

Your irrational hatred for Saban is amusing.
