It was only the second quarter and no one takes their starters out that early in a game even in blow outs. Blaming the coach is asinine. My son had a career ending injury playing college football many years ago and the last thing we/he did was blame the fricken coach. It was heartbreaking, but it happens. However, Players want to play. That is how competitors are wired. Football is a violent sport and sadly these things happen. The only thing that pisses me off more than these type of comments is the liberal scumbags who want to ban the sport.
He is terribly injury prone. He won a championship with a good half against Georgia, but mostly he has been injured or derped badly in big games. (Georgia, Clemson, LSU) Bama’s season is over, but it still might be fun to watch Mack Jones.
Believe me, Alabama fans would love to see Tua back for his senior year but, naturally, we want him to make the best decision for his future.
Our emotions are still very raw because we don’t just see Tua as an outstanding QB, but also as a beloved member of the Alabama family. I’m not just saying this because he’s a special player, but he is truly a special, kind human being who has been cursed with such terrible luck with injuries.
Thanks for being understanding of my previous post and I understand defending your team. Your Buckeyes look as if you have found a special player in Justin Fields. Your team will be very hard to beat this year.
LOL, grow up. While you’re at it, learn to spell.
Or are you just drunk?
Yeah if he is looking for top money, best thing to do is return for the Senior Year and prove this injury doesn’t affect his ability and go in the 2021 Draft. As it stands now, teams will be skittish and there aren’t that many QB-needy teams picking outside the top ten in 2020 at this rate. He needed to be deemed healthy to go top 5, and now he won’t be.
No one here is making excuses. Auburn is always a tough out at home no matter the year and no matter who is playing. I am glad your political opinions are more informed than your football talk. From a football standpoint and ignoring injuries, this Bama team is similar to last year’s Ohio State team. Both had/have great offenses coupled with very average defenses. No one wins championships without at least a good defense. Having a much better defense than last year is also the reason Ohio State is better this year.
I wasnt planning on responding to your childish trolling, but I will ask you a question.
You accuse Bama of playing cupcakes, but I dont see you criticizing Clemsons schedule. Why not?
Two reasons: You are a hypocrite, plus you harbor an unhealthy obsession with Alabama.
Ive had my fun with you for today. You can crawl back under your bridge, little troll.
Tua had no business playing in the game. They would have stomped
Miss State playing with a third string quarterback handing the ball off. Tua was 3 weeks out from having ankle surgery. His status was questionable before the game. Of course he wanted to play. Thats when Saban should have stepped in and said with the Iron Bowl Bowl in two weeks and both your ankles wrapped we need you at 100% to beat Auburn. End of story.
As it stands now Tua is out for the year and might never play in the NFL. Even if hes drafted his value has plummeted as quarterback. Its that bad. Bamas defense is not what it used to be and Jones is not good enough to beat them. Of course I want them to win. Dont be surprised if Oregon replaces them tomorrow as the 5th seeded team. Then In addition to Tuas season being over Alabamas for all intents and purposes will also be over. Unless Saban has a chance at playing for the title he loses interest and so will the players.
Clueless.
LSU or Georgia will stomp Ohio State.
LSU definitely could. However, Georgia’s offense is somewhat average.
